“Take a lover who looks at you like maybe you are a bourbon biscuit.” ― Frida Kahlo
Frida (almost called Pablo*) is the product of a design sprint between Claudia, Hwei and I. We envisioned a new learning experience from a student-centered perspective, focusing particularly on interactions between student and teacher during the feedback stage of learning.
Our goal is to make learning art online as easy as, well, eating a bourbon biscuit.
* Feedback was more Escobar than Picasso.
Much to my delight, Claudia and Hwei didn't share my enthusiasm for creating mock ups and wireframes on Sketch. This enabled me to take ownership of all visual design aspects of the project through to front-end development.
One key lesson:
Stay organised in Sketch. As you can see from the screenshot, my Artboards are in a mess! >:( I now keep my elements grouped, use proper naming conventions, and take advantage of Symbols.
